The ghost detector wand was designed as something that someone would scratch build from the things found in their garage. It is comprised of an eclectic group of electronic equipment including an electric weed eater, a microwave oven heating coil and old vacuum cleaner parts. The inspiration partially arose from the Ghostbuster’s proton pack neutrino wand.
